Our very own Cassandra Powers has graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor's of Art in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. Cassandra has been at Creighton for all 4 years of her undergraduate career, she has been active in many extracurricular activities while in college such as volunteering and Greek life. Not only has she been busy with living her college years and clubs she remained a part of but she has been working at The Firm since mid-February and has done a phenomenal job thus far. We knew we couldn't let her leave quite yet so we have offered her a full-time position as Marketing and Media Director. She gladly accepted! Her drive for success and her hard work ethic has really benefited the team throughout the last 3 months and we can only assume it will only help us more since she will be here more hours during the week. The team congratulates her and her family for her successful years at Creighton and extend her thanks for all her hard-work and cannot wait to see what else she can do with more hours in the office!

On April 13th, 2012 The Firm closed another turn-key company. The Seller, Melissa D.,  was referred to Managing Partner, Cortney Sells literally 3 times. First by her CPA, then by a family member who is in Real Estate, and sealing the deal-- Melissa's commercial Banker referred our firm!

After just a short 3 weeks of listing with The Firm Business Brokerage, we provided quaility Buyers with offers for Melissa to select from. Upon meeting Shane and Stephanie, we were set to close.

After another 3 weeks, the deal was closed! Within less than 45 days of this business listing with us~ there was an offer given and then the business was purchased in full!! The Firm helped plan meet & greets with the new buyers and employees. The Firm personally shopped the deal to 4 different banks. And also helped the Buyers find an Attorney and Banker. The position is PAID, and we are willing to work with the student on the protocols necessary to ensure that she receives course credit in accordance with her school's requirements. As we were students once ourselves and value the primary importance of education, we are very flexible as to scheduling – we would like the intern to put in 10-20 hours per week, over 2-4 days. Our student-intern will gain invaluable experience in client relations and professional interactions, the brokering process, direct and mass marketing, financing, closing transactions, and office procedures. We would welcome her to sit in on team meetings and consultations with our clients, and are more than willing to engage in meaningful exchange and mentoring regarding her progress and any questions she may have.  We are looking for a sharp, ambitious person who is both a team player and willing and able to work independently. It is imperative that a candidate understand and honor the duty of confidentiality we owe to our to our clients and is able to conduct themselves in a businesslike manner. Both The Firm's Managing Partner and myself (Kendall Krajicek, Director of Communications) are relatively young women who are deeply committed to the professional and personal development of talented young women. Cortney Sells and her team met at the closing table of 1st State Bank today where they signed closing docs on a large, multi-location childcare business. The Firm has been the driving force between both Buyer and Seller since June.  This acquisition came with many high hurdles; but with dedication and preservation The Firm earned a gold star.  The excellence in being detail oriented is what completed this transaction! This was a significant accomplishment to all those involved~ Great Job to all !! 

Miss Julie O’Brien is one of The Firm's most charismatic team members. Given the name of “Jules” around the office; Miss O'brien holds true to that title. Jules comes from a strong legal background, working for years at the prestigious Sodoro & Sodoro Law Firm as the president's Para Legal and Legal Assistant. Obrien’s strength in ethnics, coupled with her knack for being extremely detail oriented, is exactly why The Firm recruited her. Jules will represent a number of Sell Side Clients, as well as, leading the analytics and research department. We are proud to call Julie O'brien one of our own.

Brokers at The Firm have all been pulling their weight to bring a 60+ year old dental practice into pending.  After months of Buyer Shopping, through utilizing the proprietary marketing campaign; The Firm is proud to deliver a $2,250,000 Offer to Purchase to one the most well-respected dentists in town!  The H.R.
